TL DR LID helped my expand my game-play limitations. Last night I spent 6 hours on Bloodborne and got to the second boss (the dude with an axe and shotgun in a courtyard). Not to mention if you don't play games like these dying often makes you feel as if you've failed in some regard (although you do, you're supposed to learn from dying in these games so it's all good) Anyway, after hitting 37 in LID and getting a bunch of my DOD gear to 5* I got a bit bored and popped in Bloodborne, and HOLY SHIT what a difference. It was difficult and I had no narrative or reasoning for wanting to die OVER AND OVER again. I bought Bloodborne and played it for about 3 hours and never touched it again. Imo I think it's a great game to ease someone into the gameplay of these types of games.įor example, cut back about a year ago. insane at least solo) For some reason I was able to latch onto Let it Die. (Except Insane mode on Gears, that shit is. Before I never got into these games because I did nothing but play Gears, COD, WoW, and League and an extremely difficult single player game is not something I'm used to. Here are the best medieval games on PC: Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming. LID actually is the first game of the "Dark Souls" play-style that I have been able to get into and has opened my eyes to a lot of other games. I would highly suggest it to anyone that plays and enjoys LID. So I just downloaded the demo of Nioh, and I have to say it's amazing.
